I have  received a very brief  text message from an Owner who is currently at Albatros and I am reassured that he says we have escaped the worst of the terrible flooding.  The garage remains dry.

When I receive further news, I will let you know.

19th December 15:50

I have received an email from our Administrators saying that Albatros has suffered no damage other than a thorough soaking from the rain.  This has also been confirmed by an Owner who is a resident.

We have been very lucky.  I have heard that there is substantial damage in Pueblo Patricia where the garage was flooded and cars damaged.

21st December

I have been told that there is minor flooding in the pump room for the small pool but this has been cleared and it is now dry.  Pisciblue have been to the complex and report that all is well.

There is some news on the Murcia Today site .....link below

    1. I heard that it was all ok down there and I had some emails from Owners in bars late this afternoon. The worst flooding was down the other end of the town. Albatros was very lucky.

    2. Re the post on the water tank for the apartments - is the rest of the complex affected? Is it safe to use the water?

  2. Only the apartments use the water tank. The Town Hall - Ayuntamiento - are posting advice about the water on their site which can be found at www.losalcazares.es

Personally. I would err on the side of caution and use bottle water at the moment and keep checking with the Town Hall and Residents on the complex. Jennie
