GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS SEPTEMBER 2014

Albatros Main Entrance

Thanks to a few hour's work from a willing volunteer, a couple of pots of paint and a can of graffiti remover, the sub station by the car entrance gate has been smartened up.  The 'tatty' doors are now looking very smart with a coat of green paint and the missing risk labels have been replaced.  The side wall to your right as you look at the car gate has been painted in the complex colours. The 'CAICO' blemish has been expertly and cunningly removed without the need to repaint the grey soundproofing.

Car Park Wall

Now then ....... did someone go forwards instead of backwards????  Or is it wear and tear??  We will never know.  This hole in the render has now been repaired along with a smaller portion on the other side of the wall at the opposite end of the car park.  We will continue to monitor the wall but hopefully it will be ok for the foreseeable future.

Apartments

The column inside the main entrance door has been given a smart coat of shiny grey paint,   

The 'corridor' in the garage by the lifts has been given a coat of white paint....... both done by a willing volunteer who I must add is not even an apartment owner. It will have a second coat in due course. Thanks to those involved.

A cctv camera similar to that over the garage doorway has been placed over the front door of the apartment.  

The roof area where the air conditioning units sit gets very dirty if not cleaned regularly.  i used to do it but am not able to at the moment.  An exceptionally reasonable quote was given by our current cleaners to sweep the tiles, keep the drains clear and to wipe the surfaces of the marble capping.  it is important that the drains are clear in order to cope with the sudden downpours that happen. The dirt from the marble capping is the main reason that the walls become badly stained so we will be watching for an improvement on the walls in this area.
